Watching a chess game is fun. Watching someone explain their chess game, and show all the paths they could have taken, sometimes out of order, is more fun. But playing chess is the most fun.
Hearing an idea is interesting. Watching an idea form is more interesting. Forming ideas is the most interesting. In this piece, I try to give the next best thing, and not the next to next best thing.
